Daniel Pinto Coelho
Daniel Pinto Coelho was born in Valongo. He began studying piano at the age of 3. He stepped onto the stage for the first time (Sá da Bandeira Theatre) a year later. He sang Fado for the first time as a child in a fado competition at the Chaves Thermal Baths, winning three consecutive editions.
He takes piano and singing lessons at the Porto Jazz School and particularly with jazz singer Mareike Sindermann and lyrical singer Ana Seixas.
In 2010, he enrolled in the voice and performance course at the London Music School in London, performing in some of the city's famous bars and cafés. After returning to Portugal, he began performing mainly in Portuguese. In 2014, he returned to Fado, a musical style that had always fascinated him. He currently lives in Lisbon and is one of the prominent names of the new generation of fado singers and is part of the cast of Sr. Vinho.
